Armed Robbery on County Road 21

On Friday, February 9, 2018 at approximately 4:18 P.M., the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office received a report of an armed robbery at 3396 County Road 21.  The victim stated that three black males robbed him at gunpoint outside of his residence.  A description of the suspects was obtained from the victim, and tracking dogs were called in for assistance.  Dominique Lashawn Sumlin of the Shady Grove Community was arrested and charged with Robbery 1st degree.  Sumlin was transported to the Choctaw County Jail where he currently remains.  Two male juveniles were also arrested and charged with Robbery 1st degree. Both juveniles were transported to the Baldwin County Regional Juvenile Detention Center where they remain.  Under Alabama law, information concerning juveniles can not be released to the public.
