On Wednesday, April 18, 2018, the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office arrested David Keith Gilbert for Molestation. The charge stemmed from a Wayne County, Mississippi Sheriffs Investigation. From January 1 through March 31, 2018, the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office garbage-up program has recovered 13,520 pounds of garbage and 17,800 pounds of tires from Choctaw County roadways.
