Georgia investigation leads to an arrest in Choctaw County

On Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at approximately 10:30 A.M., the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office and the State Bureau of Investigation arrested Jason Earl Sharpe of 305 New Hope Road in Needham, Alabama.  Sharpe was arrested following an ongoing investigation in Harris County, Georgia that culminated into 6 outstanding warrants from Georgia.  Sharpe is charged with Enticing a Child for Indecent Purpose, Sexual Exploitation if Children, two counts of Computer Pornography, and two counts of Electronically Furnishing Obscene Material to a Minor.  Sharped was transported to the Choctaw County Jail where he remains.  Sharpe will be extradited back to Georgia to answer for those charges.
