Running Brings on More Charges

Thursday, March 23, 2017, the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a disturbance at the residence of Donald Glen Case. When deputies arrived, Case was not on scene.  Several attempts were made to locate Case, and the next day he fled into the woods from the residence.  On Sunday, March 26, 2017, deputies received an anonymous tip that he was at Kane’s Restaurant. Case was subsequently arrested at the restaurant. While handcuffed, he again tried to escape, but this was quickly thwarted. During the arrest, Case made several statements that he was going to kill the deputies, and a search of Case revealed he possessed pills.  He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Terroristic Threats, Escape 3rd Degree, and Disorderly Conduct.  Case also had two outstanding traffic warrants.
