Search Warrant Coleman Circle

On Wednesday, February 22, 2017, the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 82 Coleman Court. This is in the Coleman Circle community in Lisman, Alabama. During the search, authorities found drugs, drug paraphernalia, moonshine, and a handgun which was stolen from Lauderdale County, Mississippi. Several bull dogs were found on the property and it appeared that some were not being properly cared for. Barbara Lee Chaney of Lisman, Alabama was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Untaxed Alcohol, Receiving Stolen Property, and 3 counts of Animal Cruelty. Chaney was released on Thursday, February 23, 2017, after posting a $9,500 bond.  Sheriff Scott Lolley would like to thank officers from the Butler and Pennington Police Departments for their assistance.
