September deputy of the quarter

Deputy Austin Dew was selected as the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office deputy of the quarter.  During the period of June 25th through September 15, 2020, Deputy Dew  executed a total of 53 warrants.  Overall, deputies with the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office executed a total of 170 warrants.  With only six full time arresting officers, the execution of 170 warrants is an enormous amount of arrests.   The Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize Deputy Dew for his exceptional performance and outstanding dedication to duty.
