Stabbing and Arrest

On Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at approximately 10:30 P.M., the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office received a call from 911 of a stabbing at 11 Elmwood Road in Needham, AL.  The victim was transported by ambulance to Choctaw General Hospital in Butler.  On Thursday, November 1, 2018 at approximately 3:45 P.M., Matthew Blake Utsey was arrested and charged with Assault 1st degree.  Utsey was transported to the Choctaw County Jail where he remains.  Utsey is currently on federal and state probation.
