Suspect Identified: Choctaw County Scam Alert

The suspect has been positively identified.

Several days ago the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office requested assistance from the public in identifying the man in the photo.

Originally, the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office collected this photo and began attempts to identify the suspect.  In doing so, we shared the photo with our Mississippi partners.  The Clarke County Mississippi Sheriffs Office began attempting to identify the suspect through its Mississippi law enforcement contacts.  Clarke County was able to successfully identify the man.  The suspect is a resident of Noxubee County, Mississippi.

Law enforcement in Mississippi and Alabama are presently working on having the remaining victims identify the suspect.
